Hot meals offer a great opportunity to start preparing your child for the free hot lunches all reception children are entitled to in Primary School. It also takes the stress out of preparing a healthy lunch box for each afternoon session, and may encourage your child to try new foods.
It costs £3.07 per meal, and the menu offers varied and healthy options for your child to enjoy. These meals are not compulsory, and you are able to continue sending in a healthy packed lunch if you would prefer.
Meals need to be ordered and paid by the Monday two weeks in advance, taking holiday time and nursery closure into consideration. For example, meals for the weeks commencing 15th April 2024 need to be ordered and paid for by Monday, 25th March 2024.
We are able to cater for various dietary requirements, with alternative meals available. If your child has a dietary requirement and you are considering ordering hot meals, please speak to Miss Summerhayes or Mrs Gwynn directly before placing an order.
